Callum Mills has been working within the IT profession for more than 30 years.

Specialising in retail, legal, manufacturing and media sectors, Callum has developed an in-depth knowledge of businesses and their individual systems’ requirements.

He has previously owned and operated thriving IT companies in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Callum is an experienced and successful systems designer, project manager, technician and businessman.

Callum makes it his business to help you run your business successfully, by providing sound cost effective advice on the systems you need to run your business efficiently.

A potted biography

Callum Gordon Mills, born in Edinburgh, Scotland, educated at Leith Academy and Napier College. Played rugby for Leith Academy and Moray House in Scotland until the mid 1980’s.

Early career as a Reprographic Technician involved in the manufacture of integrated circuits and printed circuit boards for Edinburgh University and Marconi Space and Defence Systems.

Moved into systems programming, developing bespoke systems on Datapoint Platforms using COBOL, Basic and Databus languages.

In the 1980’s worked with House of Fraser, Harrods, Paris Ritz, and many other organisations as a Communications/Network /IT Manager. Designed and implemented large multi site (15,000+ seat) LAN / WAN infrastructures.

Immigrated to New Zealand in the mid 90’s to live and raise a family. Working with several Auckland based businesses in the financial services, legal, media and design market sectors.

Purchased the failing 25 year old Mycroft Systems Limited in 2003. Over the next five years developed the company into a successful international software distribution and systems integration business. Sold Mycroft Systems in 2008 to Conbrio Technology.

Callum is married to Lisa, and has four children, Euan, Kristy, Sean and Phoebe.
